Playing games is cool. Playing games with people you know is better. Playing them in the same room is the best. Until the day we have our own computer gaming lab, the best we will be able to do is at least play with people we know. So we bring you Inter-Dorm Play (creative title, huh?).
CIGL is an Internet Collegiate Gaming League with teams from Universities across the nation. We are currently in the finals and have done well all season. See our UR CIGL Team page for more info. Click here!
Unreal TournamentEvery Thursday, starting at 7pm (for 5 games, then going till whenever) we will be playing Unreal Tournament. The game is Capture The Flag. Please send you name, hall and screen name to urcgo@richmond.com (with Unreal Tournament in the subject line) and we will send you the password and the server name.
StarCraftThere's a lot of interest on campus to play StarCraft, and so we will be creating at least one game on IPX on Thursdays, starting at 8pm. We will play eight people to a game, in either two or four teams (let us know which you prefer). We also use the BroodWar add-on. Email urcgo@richmond.com (with StarCraft in the subject line) to get on the mailing list for the games.
Future GamesThere are a lot more games to be played, of course, and we are working on plans to get Quake3, Half-Life, Age of Empires II and other games going. Please email any suggestions for game titles, game rules, etc to urcgo@richmond.com with the word suggestions in the subject line.
