I am thrilled and honored to serve as the Vice President of the Rho Mu Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. during our Sorority’s Centennial Year. Since our chartering on September 10, 1995, Rho Mu has proven itself as a successful chapter and it is my goal to continue in this success.
In 2008, it is our goal to continue pursuing the legacy set forth by our founders. We will be actively striving to maintain the excellence that has marked Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for the past 100 years. In keeping with this tradition, this year’s programs plan to be exciting and innovative with the aim of making Rho Mu even more visible on our campus and within the surrounding community. Programs will focus on the five targets set forth with particular interest in developing Target IV, The Undergraduate Signature Program: Economic Educational Advancement through Technology.
As Alpha Kappa Alpha moves towards another 100 years of service to all mankind, Rho Mu will continue to be a part of this heritage through our sisterhood and service to the University of Richmond and the Greater Richmond community.
