intervarsity at the university of richmond is a community of
christian college students who seek to edify each other, worship
together, grow in Christ together, and form a collective witness to
their campus.
we are a chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA. IVCF/USA is
an evangelical campus mission serving more than 35,000 students and
faculty on more than 560 college and university campuses nationwide.
incorporated in 1941, InterVarsity has a rich tradition of campus
witness, thoughtful discipleship, and a concern for world missions.
urIV mission statement for 2007-2008:
We believe that God is sending us to those students at UR who are burdened by expectations (spiritual, social and academic expectations). Freedom from these burdens I the result of knowing God and finding rest in his acceptance and we believe that God has equipped IV to share in the burdens of the UR community.
