Located at the
University of Richmond in the west end of Virginia's beautiful capital
city, Iota Mu's sisterhood has flourished since it's colonization in
1991. Our sisters thrill in the joys of sorority life and are proud to
be a part of the national tradition of Alpha Chi Omega. We have created
this site with the goal of introducing our members and guests to the
traditions and joys of our fraternity. |
We have included
information about the general history of Alpha Chi, our founding both
nationally and at the University of Richmond, and some fun facts about
our symbols and traditions (in the
About Alpha Chi section). For those
individuals who may be interested in learning about Alpha Chi across the
United States and around the globe, we have included a link to the
National Alpha Chi Omega website and to other chapters around the nation
(Nationwide). We invite you to
learn more about our national philanthropy which is dedicated to helping
victims of domestic violence and we have included some information on
what to do if you or a friend are currently experiencing domestic
violence in your life (Philanthropy). |
In addition to
this, information about our current members, our executive board, and a
complete list of chapter alumni are available for anyone interested in
learning more about the sisters of Iota Mu (in the
Our Members section). General information about
the University of Richmond and the surrounding area can be found in the
Richmond, VA section and is
accompanied by sister's suggestions of things to do if you're ever in
the area. Through our online Alpha Chi Scrapbook
we hope to highlight photos from some of our key events and through the
interactive calendar we would like to give you a
glimpse into the many things our sisters are involved with. We have a
top secret
Sister's Only site for the current members of the
Iota Mu chapter (Sorry, everybody else...) and we even have included a
guestbook where we encourage you to leave behind
your thoughts and suggestions and to say hello to our sisters. |
Finally, we
have included a special section just for those women who might be
considering becoming a part of our sisterhood where we have included a
personal letter to you about our chapter and why you should consider
membership in Alpha Chi Omega here at the University of Richmond. (In
the
Potential New Members Section)
