Kappa Delta Pi, an International Honor Society in Education, is dedicated to scholarship and excellence in education. The Society was founded in 1911 and has a long history of openness to both genders, different races, ethnic backgrounds, handicapping conditions, and ages, and a wide variety of intellectual ideas.
As a community of scholars pledged to worthy ideals, KDP:
Greetings on behalf of the 55,000 active members of Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education. The mission of Kappa Delta Pi is to recognize and reward scholarship and excellence in education. We accomplish this through scholarly journals, regional and national conferences, access to an online Web site and a host of other member services. We have an active chapter at the University of Richmond. It is our hope you will become an active participant in the activities we have planned for this year.
